Want to join the fun as more than an attendee?
“In the spirit of unity and empowerment, Central Coast Pride proudly stands alongside Atascadero Pride, extending support and resources to foster a celebration of authenticity and acceptance. As Atascadero Pride emerges with its own dedicated team, we embrace the opportunity to facilitate their journey by providing essential infrastructure such as funding, insurance coverage, and 501c3 status, and returned support in fundraising and community building in pursuit of our mutual mission of support. Central Coast Pride embraces their vision of inclusivity and support, offering guidance in navigating logistical challenges and fostering a platform for their vital mission. Together, we envision a day of inclusivity and joy at the Atascadero Lake Park , honoring the resilience and determination of the LGBTQ+ community. Atascadero Pride celebration started as a commemoration of love and remembrance, anchored by the steadfast dedication of Thom Waldman, as a celebration of the life of his late husband on the anniversary of his birth. With unwavering support, we unite to ensure that every individual, regardless of age or identity, feels seen, heard, and celebrated in the kaleidoscope of Pride.” - Daniel Gomez, Executive Committee Chair
Who’s Coming to Pride?
This year’s Pride celebration is powered by community, creativity, and generosity! More than 70 vendors, which include retail, commercial and community organizations, will join us with a vibrant mix of art, goods, services, and resources. Throughout the day, we’ll also be holding exciting prize drawings, made possible by more than 15 local businesses who donated fantastic items. And none of this would be possible without the support of our incredible in-kind donors, who are helping make the event welcoming, comfortable, and fun behind the scenes.
